The Atlas Bookstore is a lending library and bookstore specialised in books and magazines referencing the architecture and urbanism of the Middle East and North Africa region. Its growing collection includes books in Arabic, English, and other occasional languages. The books are sourced from distributors, fanatical collectors, awe-inspiring archives, street markets, bookshops, and generous donations.

The Atlas Bookstore is an on-going project of building a collection of rare, old, and out-of-print publications, while documenting and archiving material relevant to the architecture and urbanism of its assigned territory.

Being a transient bookstore, it currently occupies a project space at the Sheraton Doha Hotel in Qatar, a modernist architectural marvel in itself by the American architect William Pereira. Its collection travels occasionally to set up satellite outposts of its collection in different cities and for different events.
